No. Extraby is a record of who owes what. You pay each other however you usually do, then mark the share as paid in the book.
To see their share and get notified in the app, yes — invite them to the book. You can still record an expense for someone before they join.
This website is available in English, हिन्दी, తెలుగు, தமிழ், ಕನ್ನಡ and मराठी. The app itself is in English today.
